5 days to go….

With less than a week to go until the Beyond an Artisan Marketplace, I am frantically trying to get everything done! I still have pieces to make, adjustments to the display and lighting to figure out to showcase some of the new designs.

I have taken a real liking to Copper this fall, and have incorporated vintage copper findings and chain into many of my designs. I am stoked about how they look, and am having a hard time putting a price tag on them…..I want to keep them for myself!

Today I am hanging out with good friends and family, surrounded by shiny jewelry and yummy smells. How could this get any better? Hope everyone has a great time!

7 days to go, at least 50 pieces to make!

I feel a bit crunched for time as the show approaches. I am inspired, and have many new design ideas in my head, it’s now just a matter of actually making them! I am hosting a joint open house with my sister tomorrow, so I can display some of my new work. This is adding a bit of stress….instead of being able to focus 100% on making jewelry, I have to focus on cleaning my house!!  Bummer, oh well, guess it’s as good of an excuss as any to clean up around here….

The Countdown is on……

Well, its that time of year again. Just 8 days until my favorite show of the year, Beyond an Artisan Marketplace. 50 up and coming and established artists & artisans in work from paintings, jewellery, pottery, wood, glass, fashion, metal, photography, and more will be in attendance. BEYOND the usual! 

Ballroom and Heritage Rooms at the Blackfoot Inn from Friday, October 22 to Sunday, October 24, 2010, admission is just $5, and the parking is plentiful, stroller and wheelchair accessible and completely free of charge.
